About this activity
Day 1: Arrive in Lhasa

Our professional tour guide and driver will waiting for guests at Lhasa Kongga International Airport or Railway station. Giving you a warm welcome to wearing a HADA for you.Then drive to the hotel in Lhasa downtown for rest.

Day 2: Lhasa city tour-Potala Palace-Johkang Temple-Barkhor Street

Waiting for tour-guide and drive you to our first view-spot 

Potala Palace which is the winter palace of the Dalai lama. It was put to use since the 7th Century by the 33rd great king of Tibet. After lunch,take a break, then guide to

Johkang Temple which was founded by the 33rd great king of Tibet in the 7th century. Around the temple is 

Barkhor street, where you can do kora (a religious circle of a building or mountain) with pilgrims and locals, and explore the old market.

Day3:Lhasa- via Gyantse to Shigatse

After breakfast , drive from Lhasa to Shigatse .heading to our first view-spots 

Yamdrok-tso lake (4400m). Later, we will pass and enjoy the 

Korola Glacier on the roadside. Then, we will arrive in Gyantse. In Gyantse, we will visit the famous

Pelkor Chode Monastery and

Gyantse Kumbum enjoy the far view of Gyangtse Fortress. Then keep driving, we will arrive in our destination.

Day4: Shigatse (3900m) to Everest Base Camp(5200m)

After breakfast, we’ll leave Shigatse after getting your Alien’s travel permit, and then drive to Lhatse, we will pass Tsola Pass (4600M), and Gyatsola Pass (5248M). Shortly after we enter Mt. Everest National Nature Reserve, tourists can enjoy the panorama of Himalaya at Gawula Pass (5198m).Then we drive along the New zigzag road to Everest Base Camp (5200m).The sunset of golden Everest peak if time and weather permits at the lodging area.

Day 5: EBC (5200m) and return to Shigatse (3900m)

In the morning, you can see the 

Sunrise of Everest Peak at the lodging area, but depends the climate. Then we will visit the Rongbu Monastery - the unique highest monastery with nuns and monks living together. Finally, we will drive back to Shigatse.

Day 6: Shigatse (3900m) to Lhasa (3650m)

After your breakfast, we will heading to 

Tashilhunpo Monastery which is one of the Six Big Monasteries of Gelugpa (or Yellow Hat Sect) in Tibet. then drive back to Lhasa. Stay overnight in Lhasa.

Day 7: Lhasa-Lake Namtso-Lhasa

In the morning, drive from Lhasa to Lake Namtso for one day tour.

Day 8: Lhasa city town-airport or railway station.

After breakfast, our guide and driver will transfer you guys to airport or railway station.

  • No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
  • Visitor who has serious high blood pressure, heart attack or a bad cold is not suitable for travel in Tibet.It is normal that most visitors have altitude sickness as Tibet locates in plateau. So long as having enough rest and eating properly ( too much food will increase stomach burden),after one to two days, sickness symptoms will vanish gradually. Also you can take some medicines, such as Gao Yuanan, Rhodiola and Nuo Dikang capsule and so on. Severe sicker can uptake oxygen or have an intravenous drip.
  • Tibet has special climate, temperature varies greatly between day and night (5-22℃), so please keep warm. You’d better not take shower at the first day coming here in case of catching cold.The average temperature in Tibet is rather low and temperature varies greatly between day and night. Please remember to bring jacket, jeans and thick sweater to keep warm. Temperature from Nov. to Mar. is around -10-10℃, from Apr. to May is around 0-15℃, and from Jun. to Jul. is around 10-25℃。
  • Tibet here is dry and has strong sunlight. Please remember to take sunglasses, sun hat, sun cream and lipstick and so on.Because of special taste, dishes in Lhasa, Shigatse, Ningchi, and Shannan city are mainly Sichuan food, which is famous for spicy and hot taste. But tastes can be adjusted according to visitor’s requirements.
  • Do not smoke,touch buddha, turn over sacred book and strike bell and drum in temple. Especially do not touch monk’s belongs. Keep quiet, sit straightly and do not occupy living buddha’s seat. Do not speak loudly , hunt or kill animal near temple.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • May be operated by a multi-lingual guide
  • Passport name, number, expiry and country is required at time of booking for all participants
  • A current valid passport is required on the day of travel
