Itinerary

Day 1: Chengdu-Xining-Germud

Pass By: 西宁火车站广场, Chengdong, Xining, Qinghai, China
Take morning flight from Chengdu to Xining, have lunch in Xining, and then board on late afternoon train to Lhasa. Train will drive from Xining to Germud at night time.

Day 2: Lhasa

Pass By: Lhasa Railway Station, Liuwu Country, Doilungdeqen County 851400 China
Train start to climb over Kunlun Mountain pass in the morning, you will have unique chance to see the no man land Kekexili in the day time in the comfortable high air pressure cabin. Grass land, Snow Mountains and lot’s of animals will full fill your memory card. Train will arrive Lhasa in the afternoon and then transfer to hotel to have rest to get use to the altitude.

Day 3: Lhasa

Stop At: Potala Palace, No.35 Gongqian Alley, Beijing Middle Road Cheng Guan District, Lhasa 850000 China
We will visit Potala Palace in the morning. The Palace is widely known for the precious sculptures, murals, scripture, Buddha figures, murals, antiques, and religious jewelry treasured up, they are of great cultural and artistic value. In 1994, the Potala Palace was declared the United Nations World Cultural Heritage site.

Stop At: Sera Monastery, Wuze Hill , Sera Chengguan District, Lhasa 850000 China
In the afternoon, we will visit Sera Monastery, one of the six main monasteries of the Gelugpa of the Tibetan Buddhism. As one of the three main monasteries of Lhasa, it is here that the monks ’famous daily debates‘ take place.

Day 4: Lhasa-Shigazte

Stop At: 羊卓雍错地区湿地, Chengguan, Lhasa, Tibet, China
In the morning, visit the beautiful Yamdrok Lake en route after lunch. Yamdrok Lake also called YamdrokYumtso,is one of the three largest sacred lakes in Tibet. Enjoy the scenery of the lake and the snow-capped mountains around the lake.

Stop At: Gyangze Old Street, Within Gyangze County, Gyangze County 857400 China
After visit the lake, we continue our trip, we will see the Garola Glacier on the way. Visit the Gyantze Fort from outside, one of the best preserved dzongs in Tibet, where the battle happens between British and Tibetan army in 1904AD.

Day 5: Shigazte-Saga-Dingri

Stop At: Tashilunpo Monastery, Jijilangka Road, Shigatse 857001 China
In the morning, visit Tashlunpo Monastery, as one of the six holiest monasteries of Gelukpa, it is the traditional seat of successive Panchen Lamas. After that, we will heading to Saga and have lunch there.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Sakya Monastery, Sa'gya, Xigaze, China
After lunch, visit the Saga Monastery, which is the most important temple of Sagaba Tibetan Buddhism. In the late afternoon, heading to Dingri and stay there overnight.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 6: Lazte-EBC Camp Site-Dingri

Stop At: Zhufeng Base Camp Parking Lot, Tingri, Xigaze, Tibet, China
Drive up to the Base Camp of Mt. Everest, which is about 5150m. Visit Rongbuk temple, the highest temple in the world. And then, back to Dingri and stay in the local hotel.

Day 7: Dingri-Himalaya Pass-Jilonggou

Pass By: Jilongzhen Government Workers Dining Hall, Gyirong, Xigaze, Tibet, China
After breakfast we drive to Jilong along the magnificent Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. We will pass by the Himalaya Mountain range we will see an altitude of 8000 meters of MT NatsuBangma and Peigucuo lake on the way, after that go straight down until we reach the mysterious place named Jilong, there is only 2000 meters with very lush vegetation and mountain landscape, the Himalaya is cut off by Jilong Gorge , reputation for "a hidden Paradise in Tibet".

Day 8: Jilong-Zhongba

Pass By: Zhongba Public Security Bureau, Zhongba, Xigaze, Tibet, China
Continue to appreciate the splendid canyon and snow mountain scenery in the morning，after that we head to Zhongba, the altitude will be back to 4000 meters again, all the way to enjoy the gorgeous plateau scenery.

Day 9: Zhongba-Mt. Kailash-Taqin

After breakfast, we will drive to the truly snow region - Ali, here is the wild Chinese, has a vast grassland, numerous mountains, lakes. You can see the Tibetan wild ass andtibetan antelopeifgood luck today, in the afternoon we will view the Mount Kailash and Lake OkahitoNamisai, they are alsothe Holy Mountain and holy lake in Tibetan, India, Nepal and other more common national’s heart.

Day 10: Taqin-zhada

Pass By: Zhangye Danxia Geopark, 30km South of the County, Linze County 734200 China
Drive toZhada in the morning. We will cross the mountain which the height is more than 5000 meters above sea level. On the way, the splendid earth forest will give you a strong visual shock .wearrivein Zhada County in the afternoon, Continue the journey toGuge Dynasty ruins, it was built 1300 years ago, more than 20 kings stayed here, with a history of 1300 years, perish in seventeenth Century, has left many precious cultural relics and historical data. Butnow,it decline to be a ruin. we can enjoy the sunset in the late afternoon.

Day 11: Zhada-Shiquanhe

After breakfast we go to visit the tuolingmonastery, it was built in 996 AD, is the buddhismcenter of ancient Guge kingdom, the monastery looks spectacular with the red walls and earth forest .someonewalk around the templeand shake the prayer wheels,.This situation also makes many regrets in our life, after that we drive to Shiquanhe.

Day 12: Shiquanhe-Ritu-Bangong Lake-Shiquanhe

After breakfast we head to the north along the Xinzang road, finally get to our destination—Bangongcuo lake, which is the international lake between India and China, fromeast to west, 155 km in length, 15 kilometers in width, the narrowest place only 5 meters.thescenery is very beautiful, surrounded by mountains and the distant snow-capped mountains. We will have enough time there ,fully enjoy the nice scenery .
