Oropéndola Waterfall And Simbiosis Spa

Combine the fun adventure of horseback riding in Costa Rica and swimming at a beautiful rainforest waterfall. From Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin, our day tour in Guanacaste begins with a 45-minute horseback ride on a scenic forest trail. Located near the Las Pailas entrance to the Rincon de la Vieja National Park, the Oropendula Waterfall plunges an impressive 82 feet (25 meters) to a sparkling turquoise pool. The beautiful lush canyon of the Rio Blanco (White River) makes a picturesque tropical oasis perfect for a refreshing swim. When you arrive at the waterfall canyon, there is a short walk on a trail with varying terrain to get down to the river bottom. You also will walk a short distance in the river to reach the waterfall. After a relaxing swim and time at the waterfall, we will ride back to Hacienda Guachipelin. All of our horseback rides follow mostly forest trails, with very little time on transited ranch roads.
