About this activity
Vandara Location:
We are located on the outskirts of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano in the Guanacaste Province, 25 kms, 15 miles from Liberia and about one hour from the International airport in Liberia. We are between 400 and 1200 meters above sea level, bordering the Rincon de la Vieja National Park. We offer to our visitor’s extensive areas of private reserve forest that borders the forest of the national park.
Detailed driving directions from Liberia International Airport:
Costa Rica, Guanacaste, North Pacific in Liberia. From the street lights in front of Burger King take the Inter-American Highway towards Peñas Blancas. Drive 13 kilometres and take the exit to “Cañas Dulces” (a paved road towards the East), and drive 12 kilometres towards the towns of Cañas Dulces and Buena Vista. Once you pass the last of these towns take an unpaved road until you get to Vandara Hot Spring & Adventure. The entrance is located on the right hand side of the road and it has an entrance wall and a sign.
