About this activity

Depart time at 7:30 from Liberia, we will stop in the local market to buy some snacks and fruits. then we drive to the top of Rincon de la vieja Volcano passing by little comunities and farms.
The hike starts in "las Pailas Section" to feel the volcano activity, watching many mud pots and hot springs bubbling from the ground, in this Rain Forest we will see typical fauna of this kind of Ecosystems and a seasonal waterfall. after the guided tour you have 2 options; if you love to hike you can take a 4 hours hike to La cangreja waterfall located in the same park or the guide will take you to "posa de la pipa" is where the river follows down in the mountain, to spend some time swimming. after that is time to go back to the hotel.
