Meet your local guide at 8:30 from your hotel lobby, aboard the comfortable air-conditioned vehicle with experienced chauffeur to start the full-day sightseeing.
Your firstly stop will be the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the southernmost glacier in the Northern Hemisphere. Looking from Lijiang Old Town, the snow-covered and fog-enlaced mountain resembles a jade dragon lying in the clouds, hence the name. Learn the history and legends from your guide on the way. Upon arrival, you will take the cable car to the scenic viewing point and marvel at the spectacular glacier and mountain sceneries.
Move on to visit the Basha Village - the first settlement of Naxi people as well as the economic and political center of Lijiang during the Ming and Qing dynasties. You could visit a Naxi family to learn more about the local customs and Naxi people's life, stroll around the village to see ancient palaces, pavilions and the most attractive site of Baisha Murals. Then proceed to Shuhe Ancient Town to feel the strong culture of primitive simplicity, and visit the Ancient Tea-Horse Road Musuem to discover one of the highest and most precipitous ancient roads in the world
