With about 50 mins driving, get to the beautiful Jade Dragon Snow Mountain area. Looking from far distance away, the snow-covered and fog-enlaced mountain is just as a pure white dragon nestled in the clouds, hence the name. The show of Impression Lijiang, directed by Zhang Yimou, director of the 2008 Olympics Opening & Closing Ceremonies, is unmissable. It is perfomred in an outdoor theatre against the backdrop of the Jade White Snow Mountain by about 400 locals of 10 ethnic groups and 100 horses. Afterwards, get down the mountain.

Head to explore the nearby picturesque Yushui Village and magnificent Yufeng Monastery in the afternoon, to experience the local tranquil atmosphere, lifestyle and culture.
