Amazing Perú: Lima-Cusco-Puno 8 Days 7 Nights

DAY 1: LIMA ARRIVAL

Transfer from the Airport to your hotel.

DAY 2: LIMA CITY TOUR!

During the morning is city tour. Visit: the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral (just ashort walk away from the plaza, located in the Santo Domingo Church on the Plaza de la Vera Cruz) and San Francisco Convent.

DAY 03: ARRIVAL CUSCO – AFTERNOON CITY TOUR (B)

Fly to Cusco and the city tour will start at 13:00 pm. We explore the city by foot to appreciate the Inca walls and architecturally extravagant colonial churches and palaces. This also includes a visit of Koricancha. After this we take a short drive to visit Sacsayhuaman along with Tambomachay.

DAY 04: SACRED VALLEY – OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUAS CALIENTES (B, L)

We will do the Sacred Valley Tour: visiting Pisac, Km 31. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Our journey continues to Ollantaytambo, where we will visit the archaeological complex. In the afternoon, we will travel to Agua Calientes by train, where we’ll spend the night.

DAY 05: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO (B)

After a good night sleep, we will travel by bus to the mountain of Machu Picchu. The tour will be guided for 2:30 hours. We will visit the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sundial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries. You will have some free time to discover the secrets of that mysterious place on your own.

In the afternoon, we will return to our hotel in Cusco.

DAY 6 – SPEND THE DAY TRAVELLING FROM CUSCO TO PUNO BY BUS (B)

You will be picked up at 06:15am from your hotel in Cusco and then transferred to the bus station where you will board the bus to Puno. You will enjoy several shorts stops to take in panoramic views and visit a historical ruin in Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, La Raya, Pucara and Sicuani where you’ll have a delicious buffet lunch and taste its unique Andean flavor. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative and taken to your hotel.

DAY 7 – FULL DAY TO LAKE TITICACA (UROS FLOATING ISLANDS & TAQUILE) (B, L)

Our journey will begin with the Uros Floating Islands. The Uros are the native people who live on these man-made islands made with cattail which is grown on Lake Titicaca. After, you will proceed to the Island of Taquile. Here we will have the lunch. In the afternoon, the boat will take you back to Puno.

DAY 8 – DEPARTURE FROM PUNO, VISIT SILLUSTANI AND INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE (B)

You will be collected from your hotel in Puno and transferred to Juliaca airport. On route to the airport you will visit the Chullpas at Sillustan. Once you are done visiting the necropolis, you will continue on to the Juliaca airport. Take flight to Lima then connect to your flight home.
