Stop At: Cordillera de la Viuda, Lima Peru
The Cordillera La Viuda is a mountain range in the Central Andes of Peru between the departments of Lima and Junín. It measures approximately 50 kilometers long with a scarce snow few covered peaks, located mainly in the province of Canta, about 100 kilometers northeast of the city of Lima.
Through Carabayllo we will leave Lima towards the Canta valley where we will be awaited with a varied breakfast of local products made with effort and dedication. The Cordillera de la Viuda is the last stop, here begins the transition between Lima and Junín, you will be amazed by the spectacular natural scenery.
We recommend you bring the following:
- Windbreaker
- Long sleeve shirt
- Trail running shoes or mountain shoes
- Cachalot hat or wide brim hat
- Lip balm (sunblock)
- Shorts (optional for hot hours)
- Camelbak (optional)
- Trekkings sticks (optional)
*The minimum requirement is 4 people to start a tour, if you are less or more than 10 or want privacy and comfort, contact us directly.
