Multi-Day Highlights of Peru Tour: Amazon Jungle - Sacred Valley - Lake Titicaca

DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN LIMA You can relax before the tour begins or enjoy the sights of the city.
DAY 2 to 3 - AMAZON JUNGLE You will fly from Lima to Puerto Maldonado. You will be transported to the jungle lodging and have your first tour. This walking tour takes 2-3 hours and it will take you to see the stunning wildlife and nature. Today you will also have a nocturnal boat trip. Next day you will visit lake Sandoval and do a short hike to Tambopata National Reserve and admire the flora and fauna
DAY 4 - AMAZON JUNGLE and CUSCO The last tour in the jungle is to visit the clay lick and observe parrots. After this you will return to Puerto Maldonado and take a flight to Cusco. You have the rest of the day free to acclimatize in peace or explore Cusco.
DAY 5 – CUSCO In the afternoon you will take a part of the city tour of Cusco
DAY 6 - SACRED VALLEY of the INCAS The day is dedicated to visit the Sacred Valley of Incas and its marvellous sights including ruins of Pisac and traditional market. You will visit the town of Ollantaytambo and explore the temple/fortress and Inca terraces. On the way back to Cusco we will visit Chinchero site and market.
DAY 7 to 8 - MACHU PICCHU The bus will take you to Ollantaytambo and from there you will take a train to Aguas Calientes. The rest of the day you are free to explore the city by your own. Next day you will visit the magical Machu Picchu. Our guide will guide you through the history and culture of Incas and show the most important places during the Incan Empire. In the evening you will take train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo and then bus to Cusco.
DAY 9 - PUNO The road to Puno will take you through beautiful scenery. Puno lies in the shores of Lake Titicaca and you will have time to wander around and visit the local market.
DAY 10 to 11 - LAKE TITICACA In the morning you will start an overnight excursion. First you will visit floating reed islands and then continue to Amantani island. You will stay the night with the local Ayamara/Quechua family. Next they you will visit Taquile Island. You have time to explore the island and see the way of the life there.
DAY 12 - FROM PUNO TO LIMA Returning to Lima for a last night. You can explore the city by your own.
