The Gold of Peru Museum holds over 8,000 pre-hispanic gold and silver pieces, from the Moche, Lambayeque, Vicus, Chimú,Chancay, Nazca and Inca Cultures. The showrooms have a wide range of main objects among which can find a variety of vessels that Incas used in rituals and religious activities, a variety of mummies from the central coast of Peru; likewise, metal pieces from the Lambayeque Culture and prehispanic textiles and pottery.
The Gold Museum also contains the unique wooden litters used by the ancient Lambayeque governors and its Copper Room has different copper objects used in agricultural activities such as other preceramic lithic instruments for farming and goldsmith works.
The Arms of the World Museum has different rooms like Samurai, Historical Characters, European, Oriental, Saddles, and Canes. The Museum exhibits over 20,000 weapons from all over the world and from different time periods.
Firearms, such as daggers, swords, guns, rifles, rapiers, and side arms, missile weapons, and large contusion weapons are exhibited in different rooms. It also contains "Francisco Pizarro's Rapier", a unique piece that was made by weapons maker Mathew in 1539.
