Stop At: Barranco District, Lima Peru

Relax as you are picked up from your hotel or apartment in Lima by our professional tour guide at 09:00 am. First, admire the beauty of the bohemian side of Lima. We will visit Barranco and make a brief stop at the Bridge of Sights. From there, you can have great views of the Walk to the Baths and the Pacific Ocean. See also the local bars, restaurants and other typical and rustic buildings that belonged to the colonial era of the city.

Stop At: Pachacamac, Autopista Antigua Panamericana Sur km 31 Close to Lurin, Lima 16 Peru

Our tour continues visiting Pachacamac located 30 minutes away in the surroundings of Lima. This archaeological site includes a visit to the museum and temples such as the Temple of the Sun, Acllawasi, the Old Temple, the Painted Temple, Pilgrims Square, and Taulichumbi palace.

Built mainly on adobe (mud bricks), this complex hosts an oracle that represents the Lord of Pachacamac, who was considered a god that ruled the world. This place is the major Pre-Hispanic ceremonial center on the Pacific Coast of America.

Discover the buildings of the four known cultures that existed here: Lima, Ychma, Wari and Inca. Calculate the difference of each culture in time and enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the sea from the viewpoint of the Temple of the Sun, the highest building in Pachacamac Sanctuary.

Later, enjoy great views of the Lurin Valley and visit a traditional hacienda. There, a local host will guide you through this unique place to know and see the history and tradition of the Peruvian Paso Horses.

You will visit the stables of this hacienda and have a detailed explanation of the breeding of these unique horses that compete in several tournaments. Feel welcomed with a Peruvian cocktail, snacks and an optional couple of turns on the Peruvian horse always accompanied by a chalan (rider).

After this, enjoy an exhibition of the Peruvian Paso horses with a typical dance of the chalanes and marinera nortena (Typical dance of northern Peru).

Finally, pleasure your palate with a delicious lunch with a Pisco Sour (Alcoholic drink) or a soda, native potatoes, salads with lettuces, legumes and vegetables of the farm, stewed beans, white rice with corn, roasted chicken with Peruvian sauces, a dessert with apricot sauce and a cup of white or red wine. Return to your hotel at 04:00 pm.
