40-minute drive from Miraflores to La Punta port. Beautiful architecture in this coastal city and former capital region. Two and a half hour cruise to Palomino Island to swim with the sea lions, apx 30-min stop, then back to port. Salty snack lunch and beverages served on cruise back. Excellent crew will take care of you in all aspects of tour: local knowledge, safety, position you for action photos with sea lions, and comfort if motion sickness results. ** TAKE MOTION SICKNESS MEDICATION PRIOR TO CRUISE ... SEAS COULD BE ROUGH UPON APPROACH AND EXIT FROM ISLANDS **. Bring towels, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and warm clothing, as well. Nice trip!

I had a great time swimming with the sea lions. Take the sea sickness pill offered, it gets rough, 2/7 people got sick. Ask for goggles to look under the water. Be prepared for very cold water and very smelly sea lions. Bring a full change of clothes to change out of your swimsuit after. Have fun!

Awesome experience with the sea lions and saw thousands of birds which were beautiful. Would have ranked higher but we had a Speed boat instead of yacht (saw other groups in much nicer vessels) and Not very much information was provided about the species seen.

Will definitely be a highlight of my trip to South America. The guide and staff on the boat were fantastic. Even giving advice for the rest of my trip. I would recommend to anyone coming to Lima!

Great trip. The crew was very professional and friendly always keeping safety first. We seen a lot of nice scenery but the real kicker was the Sea Lions...Awesome. Getting to swim with them was a thrill and so memorable. Also, nice to see other wildlife such as the penguins and other sea birds.

This was a good tour. If you are at all seasick, make sure to take a pill before you go. The guide was nice enough to take our cameras for underwater shots. Very cool.

The trip was to long and slow. The islands lost their appeal very quickly. We should have taken a faster boat to the sea lions. That part of the trip was great. The guide who was in the water with us was really helpful in getting me super close to the animals and getting some great video.

Definitely something to do once in your life. Pick up was smooth, guide was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, and the sealions were beautiful and playful! Life jackets stunk but oh well.

Amazing and very different experience. For some people it may not be as exciting because water was cold and dirty. It was expected but has not stopped people.
