Market tour + Tasting of 35 fruits + 4 course Peruvian Cooking Class

You meet our guide at the entrance of the centrally located Surquillo Market Nro 1. For about 50 minutes, you walk through the market and hear about all the exotic fruits, vegetables, legumes, herbs, meats, fish and seafood, herbs, quinoa varieties and discover little known pants, roots, and seeds from the Andes. Get detailed explanations to all the different produce and get to know the little stands and vendors we get our produce from.

Next, we head to our location where the Peru's most extensive fruit tasting is set up already. Taste more than 35 fruits we got from the market and challenge your taste buds. Get to know an incredible variety of fruits - cactus fruits, tomato fruits, 3 different passion fruits, 5 different bananas and many others.

Finally, the time hast come for you to cook 4 traditional dishes. This is a hands-on class where you got to chop, stir, fry, and plate and learn everything about ingredients used in Peru, tips on which ingredients can be substituted at home and also some history and background information on the dishes. The class is paced so that you will eat each dish right when it's done.
