About this activity
Begin your tour with pickup from your hotel, or the port of Callao, to the city of Lima. This tour offers you the possibility to discover Lima’s treasures. You will be taken through historical Lima to admire the typical wooden balconies and the beautiful churches.
You will visit Miraflores which is the biggest tourist district where you can walk around the Love´s park and enjoy a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. The next stop is Huaca Pucllana, an archaeological precinct build in the IV century A.C., where you may enjoy a panoramic view of the ruins.
Continueing on, you will stop in San Isidro to visit the Olive Grove Park. Later, on to the historical center where you shall visit one of its most beautiful buildings and attractions like, San Martin Square, the Main Square, the Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace, the Cathedral, the City Hall, the train station Desamparado and the first bar of Lima (Cordano Bar).
Concluding your tour, you will enter to the museum of Saint Francis Convent, which displays the biggest collection of religious art in America and its subterranean crypts known as The Catacombs, where you will feel the presence of Lima's colonial past.

Our cruise ships arrival was delayed by fog but we still managed to meet up with the tour guide who provided a great tour of Lima despite having to cut back from 4 hours to 3. The driver was able to take us directly back to the port rather than dropping us at the shuttle pick up spot. Kudos to Enrique for providing a tour that was superior to the ships offering as described by a fellow passenger
Our tour was wonderful. The tour guide was passionate about the city. He brought us to places large tour buses could not get to so we got a real flavor of the city. It was very hard finding a tour from the cruise port. It was wonderful getting to the pick up spot and having our driver there. One note the location currently used to pick up tours is not in a very good part of town so stay within the confines of the area to wait for your driver. Don't drive in Lima the drivers are crazy!!!!
We had a wonderful tour of Lima - could not have been better. Our guide spoke English, explained everything and when it was over, I can only wish that Viator was available for all my port trips. When booking my next cruise, I will definitely us Viator whenever possible. Thank you for making this the best tour on the cruise.
Really good city and area tour by private mini van and tour guide The young tour guide was delightful. Our only comment was his English was not great. He needs to continue to improve his English

Enrique the tour guide and Hector the driver were amazing. Very fun day. They were in time and knowledgeable. Highly recommend. We did this as tour from the ship but met at Plaza Miguel with shuttle bus from ship because the port area is hard to negotiate and getting to entrance of Port is hard.
