Stop At: Miraflores District, Lima Peru

This is a private tour of Lima, ‘The City of the Kings´, here you will enjoy seeing the best of both colonial and modern Lima and the famous museum of Larco. After picking you up at your hotel in Lima we will experience Parque de Amore in Miraflores which has a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and interesting statues.

Stop At: Huaca Pucllana, Calle General Borgono Cuadra, 8 Miraflores, Lima 15074 Peru

In Miraflores we will also pass by the ancient pyramid called Huaca Pucllana.

Stop At: Plaza San Martin, Lima Peru

Next stop is at the San Martin Plaza where we will visit the main Cathedral, which corridors San Martin de Porras and Santa Rosa de Lima used to walk along in the 17th century and where their remains rest today.

Stop At: Iglesia y Convento de San Francisco, Plaza San Francisco Jirón Lampa y Ancash, Lima 15001 Peru

Thereafter you will experience the Plaza de Armas of Lima, a beautiful square surrounded by palaces, before heading to the World Heritage Listed Monastery of San Francisco. This monastery is renowned for its architecture, a stunning 17th Century example of Spanish Baroque, and its convent library that possesses approximately 25,000 important antique texts. Hidden underneath the monastery, are the Catacombs, Lima´s first cemetery, where you will witness the remains of some 70,000 burials by exploring through narrow passages and looking down into deep pits that are lined with mysterious bones and skulls.

Stop At: Larco Museum, Av. Simón Bolivar 1515, Pueblo Libre 15084, Peru

Then we move on to The Larco Museum, founded in 1926, displays remarkable chronological galleries providing an excellent overview on 3000 years of development of Peruvian pre-Columbian history. Located in a unique vice-royal mansion of the 18th century built over a 7th century pre-Columbian pyramid is surrounded by beautiful gardens. The Larco Museum also features the finest gold and silver collection from Ancient Peru and the famous erotic archaeological collection, one of the most visited Peruvian tourist attractions. In the end of the tour you will get dropped off at your hotel in Lima.
