You will start this tour visiting the most preserved "Huaca" in Lima city. This archaeological site belonged to the Lima culture on the periods between the 200 - 700AC. It is preserved and managed by the city hall of Miraflores and it has a fine restaurant located inside the complex. A shared tour will show you the most important places of this Huaca built on adobe, sand and boulder stones. It has a 25-meter pyramid and a set of plazas, corridors and exposition rooms where you can see the history of the Lima and Wari cultures.
See a ritual recreation of vessel offering and explore the park of native flora and fauna where you can find different plants like the corn, pacae, guayaba, tuna, tara, guarango as well as different animals such as South American camelids, ducks, the famous "cuy" (Guineapig) and the Peruvian hairless dog.

In this museum, many studies and projects take place and masterpieces such as Inca Aribalos, Quipus, Paracas textiles and Chimu, Mochica, Vicus, and Wari pieces are always exhibited here.

Mauro (guide) was extremely knowledgeable and made this tour the BEST!!! The pottery was very interesting and we could have spent hours listening to stories. The Larco gardens are breathtaking, colorful and a special place.
