Itinerary
The village of Korakou s believed to have taken its name either from an ancient king of the region, or its first inhabitant.
The area is also well known for its cultivation of aromatic, local herbs and the distillation of their essential oils.
In a unique prestige location in the footprints of Troodos mountains and a short distance from the sea right opposite the only copper mine in Cyprus lies the first and only theme park/museum about perfumery!
In this unique environment, the visitors will have the chance to learn how the perfumes were produced over the centuries
Using only natural local raw materials special rooms were constructed where the visitor can see all the process of distillation
The visitor will have a unique experience to see the apparatus used for the first global distillation dating 4000 bc
Also in a separate place, the visitor can see and touch the components of the distillation devices and how they are put together.
Through the centuries the process of distillation has been involved. In the park, the visitor will have the chance to see this.
Live the experience of an Olive harvest to the olive mill grinding!
