Itinerary

Day 1: Day 1 - Going up the country to Belfast

Stop At: Belfast Harborwalk, Belfast, Maine
Depart Aurther's Quay, Limerick, bus stop behind the shopping center at 08:00 .
We will make our way up the country to Northern Ireland to the city of Belfast, the capital and largest city in the North.
We will check in to our city centre accommodation at Paddy's palace. We will then have the evening to explore Belfast city, consider an optional world famous “Black Taxi” tour of the Falls and Shankill areas seeing murals of troubled times and also the peace wall. This is highly recommended and a great insight into the happenings of a period in Irish history referred to as “The Troubles”.
We will have plenty of time to discover Belfast before going out to the Titanic experience on the docks of this historic
shipping port and see the construction dock and learn the history of the famous ocean liner, that was built to be unsinkable.
That night we will enjoy Belfast, party with the locals and avail of nightly pub-crawl's (seasonal) or our guides will show you what's hot and what's not!

Day 2: Day 2 – Carrick-a-Rede – Dark Hedges - Causway – Dunluce castle - Derry

Stop At: Giant's Causeway, Bushmills, County Antrim, Northern Ireland
The next morning we will depart Belfast and begin our journey up the east coast to the Giants Causeway! We drive along the coast of the beautiful County Antrim.
Stopping at a number of locations, one of which is a beautiful avenue of beech trees, Known as the “Dark Hedges” was planted by the Stuart family in the eighteenth century more recently used as a backdrop in the series Game of thrones!
Our next stop shall be the enchanting town of Ballintoy, which is home to the famed Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. Enjoy the mesmerizing views of Scotland and take the exhilarating rope bridge(optional) to Carrick-a-Rede island and enjoy a truly cliff top experience.
Then we will be off to the Giant's Causeway, which has often been described as 'The Eighth Wonder of the World' and once you have visited the site you will quickly see why. The area consists of an estimated 40,000 hexagonal basalt columns, which were formed during a volcano eruption 60 million years ago. This is one of the great natural attractions of the world and many believe the Causeway was built by a giant Finn McCool.
We will then stop at the amazing and dramatic Dunluce Castle, home to the McDonnell Clan for many years and considered the most romantic castle in Ireland. En route we pass through Bushmills, famed for the fantastic whiskey, which is enjoyed all over the world.
We will then make our way west to the city of Derry and check into our city-centre accommodation. It is located a mere two blocks away from the city walls of 1601. We will have plenty of time to take in the scenery of Derry and enjoy a huge night-out. Great Irish music to enjoy in historic Derry!

Day 3: Day 3 – Derry walking tour - Sligo – WB Yeats resting place- Limerick

Stop At: Drumcliffe Church & W. B Yeat's Grave
The following morning after breakfast we will enjoy a walking tour of historic Derry with a passionate local guide! Learn of Bloody Sunday and the troubles as you walk the walls of this fine city.
We will then make our way back down south to Limerick after exploring all the wonders of the Northern Ireland and have a few stories to tell along the way.
