The canals of Tortuguero are without a doubt one of the main attractions in Costa Rica, and this is a unique opportunity to experience this natural wonder. You will pass through some of the country’s most fertile areas and learn about Costa Rica’s main agricultural products. Along the way, you will see cocoa plantations and ornamental flowers.

The boat ride will take about 1 hour, after this we will be taking you for a city tour that will show you our entire Caribbean coast, from the Chiquita Banana plantation to a stop in our central market to buy some of the best coffee in the world.

Visit a Banana plantation for outside, our guide will provide you many interesting facts about this amazing fruit will be explained, including the crop, harvesting, processing, packing and exportation. Costa Rica is the second largest banana producer in the world, with more than 106,000 acres of plantations devoted exclusively to banana production, and 80% of the plantations are located in Limon province, which has become one of the most important economic activities in the region. This is a very interesting cultural experience that you can’t miss.

After all this adventure, our guide will give you two options, you can eat in a restaurant with a panoramic view of Limon or a restaurant on the beach, (lunch not included).
