Art of Travel driving you... to Sintra, known for its mysticism and Natural Heritage, as well as for its particular microclimate. The Sierra is heavily wooded, providing for a lush landscape where we can find stately homes and palaces. We propose visits to the following places of interest; the Moorish Castle, the Convent of Capuchos, Sintra National Palace, the Palace of Monserrate, and finally, the Palace of Pena, where one can walk many paths to take-in the breath-taking views. Lunch can be taken in the village where there is also numerous gift shops, allowing for the purchase of lasting memories

In contrast to the intimacy of Sintra, we then move onto Cabo da Roca, the most westerly point of Europe, characterised by it steep cliffs, battered by the Atlantic Ocean. Luís Vaz de Camões, the celebrated Portuguese poet described this place as being... “Where the land ends and the sea begins...”

The next stop on our tour is Cascais, a fishing village of outstanding beauty, with its rich architectural heritage, recognized by its proximity to the sea. There are numerous terraces and esplanades with Atlantic views, as well as streets selling gifts, handicrafts and souvenirs to take home. Following the coast road to Lisbon, we make a final stop in Estoril, to visit its fabulous gardens and Casino. Return to Lisbon
