Fatima Nazare and Obidos Day Trip from Lisbon

Our trip starts with a visit to Fátima , one of the most important sites for Catholics that attracts millions of pilgrims and visitors each year. At this place in 1917 three shepherd children saw Our Lady of Fátima and in May 2017 Pope Francis canonized two of those children in front of an estimated 1 million people crowd. 
After visiting Fatima we head to Batalha, a small town famous for its beautiful Monastery now a UNESCO Heritage. Its detailed art carved on the stone and its size will leave You awe and provide an opportunity to know the most important monument in Portugal that took more than one century to be completed.
Just 30 minutes from Batalha we arrive at the quiet and picturesque fisherman's village of Nazare where You will have one hour of lunch time. Here You can choose from the dozens of local restaurants that serve delicious fresh fish year round. Nazare is also famous during the off season for its giant 90 ft waves that attract surfers from all continents that dare to face the mastodons coming from the Atlantic.
Our final stop is the charming medieval Town of Obidos, with its unique character and well-preserved buildings that will put You back in time.
In Obidos You can taste the famous "Ginja", a cherry-like liquor original invented by the local monks that have kept its popularity over centuries.
