Full-Day Shore Excursion: Private Tour to Fatima from Lisbon

Select your departure time and greet your guide on arrival at Lisbon Port, just outside your cruise ship. (The guide will be holding a sign with your name on it). Settle into a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle and get to know the story of the Apparitions while heading to Fatima (1:30hrs drive) with live commentary from your private licensed guide.
There, you start your day with a visit to a local factory - optional - so you can buy a rosary to be blessed at the Mass, drink a coffee or simply go to the restroom.
After, with your tour guide, go to the Sanctuary, where you visit the Chapel of Apparitions - located exactly where the three children were first visited by Mary on May 13, 1917 - and enter the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary. Your guide will then give you a report on masses and places of prayer and you can take your time for personal discovery, light a candle or drink water from the blessed well.
Meet your guide again for a visit to the house of Francisco and Jacinta and the house of Lucia, at the small town of Aljustrel, an incredible testimony of their poor living conditions at the time of the apparitions.
Your tour at Fatima ends at Valinhos, the place where the fourth apparition of Our Lady, on August 19, 1917, ocurred.
You will then go back to Lisbon and your cruise ship.
