Mafra Palace and Tapada Woods

- Pick up at 9h, in a central location around Lisbon
- Ride in a confortable 9 seat van with AC, around 30 min to our first stop at Tapada de Mafra (entrance fee included on price)
- Start with a honey and bees workshop, where you can learn about how we manage to work with bees and extract the different types of honey
- Continue the tour with a fun train ride around the Tapada and see all the animal life that runs freely around the woods (mainly wild boars, deer and fallow deer).
- Visit to the museum of Biodiversity in the heart of the Tapada.
- Finish our Tour here with a real show of birds of prey where you can interact and learn about: eagles, owls, snitches and others.
- The tour at Tapada finishes about 13h, and then we head to lunch at João da Vila Velha (not included), a typical and authentic portuguese cuisine restaurant, located in Mafra.
- After lunch, we have a guided tour in Palácio de Mafra, one of the most beautiful and majestic palaces in Portugal, we visit the palace and the convent, the two spaces coexists at the same place.
- After the visit to the palace (17h30), we return to lisbon and drop off at the meeting point.
