You'll head to the 12th-century Lisbon Cathedral for a historical introduction to the medieval district of Alfama, where Olisipo (Lisbon) was founded by the Romans.

Stop at the best viewpoint of Lisbon and enjoy spectacular hilltop vistas of the entire city, from the medieval district of Alfama to the Baixa (downtown), the Tagus river and the New Avenues.

Sandra and Luis were absolutely exceptional! They really know and love their city and love to share their knowledge and affection. We covered all the main sites of Lisbon and had a wonderful time in Sintra. Sandra was extremely helpful all along the way, and Luis provided excellent color to her play by play. I could not recommend this tour more highly.
A good private tour, our guide was informative and friendly. We saw the highlights of Lisbon and then off to Sintra which is a wonderful old town.
My husband and I did the private tour to Sintra with with Sandra and Luis. This excursion has been the highlight of our 2 week cruise. The Pena palace and Cascais natural park were a must see on your trip to Lisbon. Sandra is passionate about history and gave us a deeper appreciation of the areas we visited. Luis, her husband was our driver very capable was reliable and guarded our belongings in the van while we walked our tour. These two make a 5 star team!!
