Sintra, Arrábida & Evora with a Geographer Guide

1st Day: Pickup in Lisbon at 8am and set off to Évora. Off roading in the cork forest to visit and interpret Cromlech of Almendres, dolmens nearby and the roman villa. Lunch in a buffet restaurant by the price of 15€ per person. In the afternoon the guide walks with you in the streets of Évora inside the roman/ medieval and renaissance walls. Visit of the Chapel of the Bones and church of S.Francisco ( 4€ per person), Diana Temple, and the Cathedral ( in case you want to visit inside the price is 3,5€ each). Arrive in Lisbon at 7pm.
2nd Day: Pickup in Lisbon at 9am, heading south by crossing the Tagus River and reaching the mountain range that you can see from Lisbon. This day is about exploring and discovering Arrábida Nature Park: places where Moors established the fortress at hills tops, valleys where you’ll see the very tilted tectonic areas of the mountain, the coast with caves from karstic formation, bays where you might want to stay with calm ocean waters, and the pristine vegetation that you only see here. At lunch in a restaurant in Azeitão town you can taste the traditional wines ant pastry. Arrive in Lisbon at 6pm.
3rd Day: Pickup in Lisbon at 9am and set off to Sintra. You’ll have a guided walk in Pena palace park (7,5€ per person) and Moorish castle outside the walls, and another short walk in the downtown where is possible to taste the local pastry. Depart to the coast through the picturesque road by jeep, showing you the beaches and cliffs of the Natural Park. Stop in a restaurant at the beach to eat a fish soup and some savoury pastry (around 8€). Off roading to Cabo da Roca- the western most tip of continental Europe, you’ll see the striking views from the dramatic shore. Return to Sintra through the luxurious forest and bolder fields of the mountain. Arrive in Lisbon at 5pm.
