Small-Group Half-Day Trip to Óbidos from Lisbon

Your tour begins with a pick up from your hotel in central Lisbon (8:30am for morning departure, 2pm for afternoon departure). From there, settle back in the air-conditioned vehicle for a 1:15 hr drive towards the medieval village of Obidos. Please note that there will be a moderate amount of walking around the village, and it is not wheelchair accessible.

Your guide will then take you on a guided tour through its narrow streets and colorful houses filled with geraniums and bougainvillea. You'll be able to learn the history behind this romantic village, also known as the "Town of Queens".

On a quick break, you can then taste the "ginjinha", a cherry-liqueur served in a small chocolate cup (a local favorite and included in the price).

After fall in love with Óbidos, you will have free time (about an hour or so) to stroll through its cobblestone streets, visit handicraft local shops or climb the 12th century castle walls.

The tour will end with your transfer back to your hotel in central Lisbon (arrival at 1:30pm for the morning tour or 7pm for the afternoon departure).
