Get on-board the Mersey Ferries River Explorer Cruise and enjoy an awe-inspiring view of Liverpool’s city and natural landscapes. The legendary band The Beatles performed several times onboard Mersey Ferries during the 1960’s. Marvel at the colourful “Dazzle Ferry- Snowdrop,” a ferry painted by Sir Peter Blake, the artist behind The Beatles’ iconic Sgt. Peppers album cover. During the cruise, hop off at Woodside and visit one of the four remaining real German u-boats, U-534, at the U-Boat Story Museum. Learn more about its history with the museum’s interactive and audio-visual exhibits.

This attraction tells the story of the World War II German submarine U-534. With original film archive and interactive displays. View inside sections of the U-534 and get a chance to see a rare Enigma machine and stunning views of Liverpool from the Conning tower. There is a food village if you fancy a bite to eat and great views from the roof terrace.

Not the best day for sailing July 5th and very windy also school kids allowed to run round the boat unattended teachers took no notice of them
