About this activity
Visit: St Johns Beacon, St. Johns Beacon 1 Houghton Street, Liverpool L1 1RL England

St John's Beacon, as Radio City Tower is officially known, is a working media outlet home to a local commercial radio station but is also open to the public as a viewing gallery with 360-degree views of Liverpool and beyond, up to 40 miles away on the clearest of days.

With your admission ticket, you may go whenever you wish during opening hours, and there is no time limit to your stay (recommended time is about 30 minutes). There are on-site guides in the viewing gallery who can provide information about the city and its history, if you have any questions. Before leaving, make sure to pick up your included souvenir booklet that points out some of the attractions in the Merseyside area.

I enjoyed my trip to the top of the tower. I was fortunate that the weather was good and sunny and there were some amazing views over Liverpool. It was great to get a different prospective of the city and surroundings. I would thoroughly recommend a visit to the tower.

Great day, great views, great staff - wish there was a cafe up there though - a cup of coffee would have been great!
