About this activity

We meet at the Philharmonic pub on Hope Street at 6.45pm then head off for 7pm. The walk is ALL downhill and will travel through the City and visit some of the highlights of the City and its nightlife.

You will be asked to choose from a selection of drinks on the way to each pub and the price of the tour includes 3 half pint drinks (or equivalent), soft (non alcoholic) drinks are also available.

The tour will end at the Pier Head and the Three Graces leaving you with a lasting taste of this great City!

This tour runs every evening.

Our guide was very friendly and helpful, really made us feel welcome in the city and showed us a lot of unique sights.

We had Jean as our tour guide during the Walking and Drinking Evening Tour. We met promptly at the time listed on the ticket, and were greeted and immediately felt at home. Jean was very personable and BEYOND knowledgeable about any of the silly questions i had throughout the duration of the tour. Jean also went above and beyond with our tour pointing out some extra things since she knows how big of a Beatles fan I am. I really appreciated the time spent with Jean and her incredible tour. It was certainly one of the best things we did in Liverpool and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to bar hop and learn a bit in between! Also for Beatles fans, this is perfect! You will visit some pubs that the four frequented!! Thank you Jean!!!!

This tour was the best thing we did in Liverpool!! We met the guide at the first pub and found out that we were the only ones on this particular tour 5 of us. It was nice to have a small group and a more personalized tour. Our guide, Rob, was very knowledgable about Liverpool and its history, particularly related to the Beatles. We enjoyed the walking tour as well as the pub stops and the beers!. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour in Liverpool as it is a unique way to see the city and learn from one of the locals.

What an unexpected gem!! Jean was FANTASTIC!. Now, full disclosure, we were in Liverpool during the beast from the east storm and because it was so cold, there was only 3 on the tour - so it was very personalized... but I feel like Jean would have delivered even to a large group. It was more walking and learning than drinking - but the pubs came at perfect intervals to pop in, warm up and have a half pint. And we learned at the pubs too. If you are going to Liverpool, you MUST do this tour - its a good value. I highly recommend it.
