Treat yourself to a journey to discover the wonders of the sea! The Livorno Aquarium will attract you with its 3,000 square metres of exhibition space and its 33 tanks that are home to over 2,000 animals of 300 different species.
The blacktip reef sharks are the stars of the structure. They swim in the Indo-Pacific tank along with two beautiful green turtles, two napoleon fishes, and scorpion fishes. Meanwhile, in the tropical gallery, seahorses enchant adults and children.
In addition to the tanks, exhibitions that are renewed periodically allow an in-depth look on art, history, culture and science.
The aquarium, located on the seafront in Livorno, boasts a prime location with high visual impact. After the tour, you will have access to the rooftop terrace from which you will be able to admire the beauty of the Livorno's coast as well as the Tuscan archipelago.
