Livorno shore excursion: Bolgheri and Supertuscan private tour

Itinerary:

9/9:30am we will wait you just outside your cruise-ship (we are a Tour Operator able to reach the cruises inside the port). We will drive by a minivan to the Tuscan countryside, where you will hear about the first clarification on Italian wine regulation with its Docg, Doc, Igt wines, the difference between the chianti wine and SuperTuscan wine.

After 40 minutes drive, Once we arrive at the worthy winery you will have the opportunity to be welcomed by the owner or a wine guide that will show you with passion the vineyards, the aging cellar and will describe each bottle of wine you are going to taste: Bolgheri Rosso, Bolgheri Superiore and other Super Tuscan wine. There will be extra virgin olive oil taste as well.

After wine tasting we will move in the ancient village of Bolgheri, where we will visit the most beautiful places included the marvellous castle.

On request we can visit others local wineries for your wine experience.

3:30/4pm We will drop off you at your cruise in Livorno Port
