Siena and San Gimignano Shore Excursion from Livorno Port

I will meet you at the ship at the time agreed; we will drive to San Gimignano first ( 1.5 hrs), a unique small village, Unesco's world heritage site, still encircled by the ancient wall, that retain all the original medieval features, like the many towers, homes of whealty merchant families, a true voyage in the past! Here you will have the opportunity to taste the world champion gelato! ( 1 hour stay here). We can add then a stop to one of the oldes estate in this area to sample wines and olive oil www.guicciardinistrozzi.it ( optional). We will then drive to Siena (45 min) Unesco's world heritage site too, one of the most famous Tuscany's city, extremely rich in art and history, where you will visit the magnificent Cathedral, the most outstandig gothic architecture in Italy, along with Piazza del Campo, the world wide famous plaza where the Palio, the bareback horse race take place. You will stroll along the winding alleys to discover several others almost hidden jewels like the Santa Caterina bithplace, and many others palaces. (3 hrs stay here, depending on winery option). After Siena you will be driven back and drop off at the ship ( 2 hrs). Along the way you will have many photo opportunities on the beautiful Tuscany's countryside.
