Day 1: Individual Arrival To Postojna.
Postojna is a modern town in southwestern Slovenia although people visit it mainly for its remarkable cave and magnificent Predjama Castle. Populated already in Paleolithic Era, Postojna today has about 9,200 inhabitants and is the economic, administrative, educational and cultural centre of the Inner Carniola (Notranjska) region of Slovenia. (Hotel 4*).

Day 2: Predjama And Postojna Cave (Approx. 30 Km And 500 Elevation Metres).
Today you'll have the opportunity to marvell the magnificent Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle (entrance fee not included in programe price). The world famous Queen of the Caves is simply awe-inspiring. Having formed over thousands of years, it has become one of most visited places in Slovenia, Don't miss it out! After admiring this natural wonder you'll cycle further to Predjama where you will find one of the most picturesque castles in Slovenia. Predjama Castle is built into an overhanging rock in front of a karst cave hall that is connected with a cave system underneath the castle. (Hotel 4*, meals included: breakfast).

Day 3: The Rakov Škocjan Valley – Cerknica Lake And Planinsko Polje (Approx. 46 Km And 700 Elevation Metres).
It's just a breath-taking day! Today's cycle tour where you will first visit picturesque karst valley Rakov Škocjan, formed by the sinking and collapsing of a cave ceiling, will not leave you indifferent. Century-old oak trees, the splendid Big Natural Bridge (Veliki naravni most) and Little Natural Bridge (Mali naravni most), are just some of the great features of this beautiful karst valley. From here cycling tour continues to another Slovenian treasure, Lake Cerknica. It is one of the largest intermittent lakes in Europe and it appears every year on the karst polje (plain). During the dry season, the lake disappears, which enables paddling, fishing, cycling or hiking. On your way back to Postojna, you will experience cycling through another karst formation – charming Planinsko Polje - a classic example of a karst polje (plain), the last of its kind in the Ljubljanica river basin. Planinsko Polje is part of a wider system of protected areas and is included in the Natura 2000 network as a unique habitat of European importance for numerous plant and animal species. If you visit it after heavy rain, you will see the incredible sight of a flooded karst polje transformed into a lake. (Hotel 4*, meals included: breakfast).

Day 4:Postojna – Divača (Approx. 40 Km And 470 Elevation Metres). Today you will change the hotel and location. After a winding cycling day through fascinating karst landscape, mingled with settlements and vineyards, which give us the glorious Teran wine and the well-known Karst prosciutto, you will arrive to Divača where your home will be for the next four nights. (Hotel 3*, meals included: breakfast).

Day 5: Divača – Škocjan Caves – The Surrounding Karst Villages – Divača (Approx. 32 Km And 460 Elevation Metres).
Only a few countries can boast of such natural phenomenon of exceptional global value. You cycle to the beautiful Škocjan Caves, which have been included in the World Heritage List (UNESCO) since 1986. After visiting the caves, you re-mount the bikes again and drive around the beautiful landscape. The villages of Karst are true »food« for the eyes. Full of historical sights and specialties. Do stop for lunch in one of the authentic local inns, where the food is prepared on the basis of centuries-old recipes and a rich restaurant tradition. The way back to the hotel continues through the enchanting Karst settlements, past genuine houses and old stone Karst houses, over lush fields and on grey side-roads. Day 6: Divača – Lipica – The Surrounding Karst Villages – Divača (Approx. 40 Km And 340 Elevation Metres). Today's cycle route leads you through Lokev village, famous for its prosciutto, before arriving to the famous Lipica Stud Farm. Lipica is the oldest European stud farm for breeding one of the oldest cultural horse breeds. It's kind of magical, pedalling through avenues of trees and parks, and being surrounded with noble white Lipizzaner horses on their green pastures. Soon afterwards you'll arrive to the outskirts of Trieste and the Italian village of Bazzovica. Do not forget to take some time to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee in this historic and, for Slovenians, very important place. Cycling continues on through the old Karst villages, through the town of Sežana, the administrative and political centre of the Karst region. The botanical garden at Villa Mirasasso and winetasting at the largest winemaker, Teran PTP at the Vinakras winery, are just unforgettable. The last part of today's cycle route is also beautiful and diverse as it takes you through small Karst settlements and several other charming villages. (Hotel 3*, meals included: breakfast).

Day 7: Divača – The Surrounding Villages – Vremska Valley – Divača (Approx. 41 Km And 710 Eleveation Metres). Vremska Valley is the land between the Vremščica (beautiful 1.027 m high mountain) and Brkini region where the river Reka floods fertile soil before it sinks into the underground world of the Škocjan Caves. It is the largest Slovene blind valley. In the past, Vremska dolina was also known as the valley of mills and sawmills.. The last active one was the Dujc mill at Skoflje, which operated until 1986. Today, the existence of mills and sawmills reminds us of it ruins only. It's all about enjoying on your bike, exploring and discovering typical and small villages, sleepy countryside and scenic valley. (Hotel 3*, meals included: breakfast).
