THURSDAY: POSTOJNA CAVE & PREDJAMA CASTLE

FRIDAY: GREEN ALPINE REGION WITH LAKE BLED AND BOHINJ

On Friday you will explore the Alpine region with its magical Lake Bled and Bohinj and breathaking views over Julian Alps. You will take the traditional pletna boat to Bled Island and visit Bled Castle, where you can take amazing photos of the lake and the nature that surrounds the town. In Bohinj you will be surrounded by the high mountains reflecting in Bohinj lake and you will have the chance to explore and feel the relaxed life of small alpine villages such as Ribičev Laz and Ukanc.The tour continues to famous Vintgar Gorge, where a wooden path will take you along the picturesque gorge with the rushing river Radovna and vertical rocks.

First stop – Socerb Castle. Socerb offers breathtaking views of the Slovenian coast and the Gulf of Trieste and since it is not known as one of the top attractions, you can enjoy the scenery undisturbed. After Socerb you will continue to explore Soline Nature park and discover the ages old traditions of salt production. You will end the tour walking and relaxing in the most charming town on the Slovenian coast-Piran. Take your time to enjoy the breeze that blows from the sea and to admire the main square named after a famous violinist and composer Giuseppe Tartini.
