If you’re a lover of the subterranean world, Slovenia is home to incredibly large caves and underground canyons that would make you feel like you’re on a different planet! Join this half-day tour and see two of the most well-known caves in the country, Postojna and Predjama, and appreciate the beauty underneath Slovenia. Postojna Cave is the country’s second largest cave that became known for its unusual rock formations, a huge collection of stalactites and stalagmites, and human fish! Predjama, on the other hand, is actually a castle built on the mouth of a cave. It is the largest cave castle in the world, and was also home of Erasmus of Lueg, Slovenia’s Robin Hood!
