Postojna Cave introduces you to an almost secret world in existence for centuries and the nearby Predjama castle is a secret abode rulers created for themselves to keep away the enemy. Our guide, young student Lana K was informative about other aspects of Slovenia as well. Enjoyed it.

We were picked up promptly from the appointed pick up point and there were 4 other people that had joined the tour too. Driven to the Castle first then to the Caves. Valdimir was very knowledgeable and imparted this to us as he drove. The castle visit is a must - you will need to climb steep steps to reach the top - well worth it. Postojna Caves were magnificent too.

a beautiful little castle doesn't take long to get round but worth the visit, interesting to see the different levels build over the cave that was once also lived in. The caves where large but unfortunately they are over touristic there are large ques to get in (though you don't wait long) you are in a massive group following loads of other big groups and can barley hear the guilds over each other and the chattering patrons. the caves are what i marked down for the castle was sweet not crowded and a delight to veiw.

This was a day trip for our family, with two kids aged 9 and 7. Really straight forward pickup, and the trip was incredible. We had Elena, who was friendly and informative all day. The kids (and me) were blown away by the caves, and the train down makes it a really special experience. And then Predjama Castle was amazing too - have never seen a castle like it. A really great day out for the whole family, a small group making it simple to manage, and Elena was excellent. Great value. Thankyou!

Our tour of Postojna caves and Predjama Castle was lovely. Our tour guide on the drive and throughout, Tadeja, was wonderful. She was engaging, informative and interesting. She did a great job!

I decided to join this tour as there is limited transportation between Postojna Caves and Predjama Castle (except in summer). I was not willing to splurge on taking a cab both ways or driving a car. The decision has worked out well. Our guide Barbara K. is very informative about Slovenia and especially punctual (she was 20 minutes early for the pickup). The tour provides the opportunity to experience 2 wonderful attractions on the same day.

My Mother and I were visiting Ljubljana for a conference and had two days prior to that to travel the caves... We found this tour on viator and immediately took to it... We booked it hoping for the best.. And our hopes were beyond fulfilled... The host, Barbara came to pick us up at our airbnb despite it not being in the list of pickup spots... She was there little before time, which was impressive and helped us have an early start to the trip.. We picked up five other people joining us and started the way to the caves... Throughout the journey, Barbara was informing us about Ljubljana and Slovenia and we enjoyed a stimulating conversation on the same... She is an economist and thus knew a lot about the economy, trades, gdp etc of the country... The way she explained the history of Slovenia was extremely interesting and even a person like me who is usually scored least in history in school, was at the edge of my seat listening to her version of the story.. She gave several tips on the caves and castle.. The caves were brilliant, and the guide there was very good... It's important to stay close to the guide so you don't miss any of the fascinating details about the cave... The castle had an audio guide and was another worthwhile visit... I won't spoil the mystery by telling you details about the caves and castle, but they're a must see! We both recommend this tour and Barbara as a host! Thank you!

Our guide was a nice British man. He was very patient. First we met up at one of the hotels and he took us to see the castle first because the line for the caves was really long. In the end that’s the better way to do the tour- castle first caves next- if you go in the summer because of the heat. The castle was cool- not ornate inside but cool to see how the cave is actually a part of the castle. Then we went to the caves and it was nice and cold after being out in the heat! There was a cute train ride down to the bottom. Then we walk for about an hour or two. The only down side is the caves are busy and they rush you along. After that we had a little time to shop and then dropped to home!

This tour is a must if visiting Slovenia. we had booked a private tour for three people. The driver arrived on time and was friendly and engaging, offering informative information on Slovenia and the places we were visiting. The car was clean, comfortable and spacious. Really enjoyed visiting the caves and castle and would highly recommend this tour.
