Taste Slovenia - Wine, Food and Dance

A guide will meet you in the center of Ljubljana and escort you to a specialized wine bar and shop. You will enjoy a special wine tasting of select wines and have an unique opportunity to taste orange wine. After the tasting you will be able to buy some of the best wines from different regions of Slovenia. In the evening you will arrive at a lively restaurant in central Ljubljana where you will be greeted by a folk-dance group in traditional costumes and served an aperitif - schnapps called "klojce" with dried fruit. Sit back and enjoy a rich folklore program with live folk music and dancing, while eating a traditional three course dinner, comprised of Slovenian heritage food, and a glass of local wine. After the main course you can hop on the dance floor to learn the traditional Polka dance. After dessert you will play fun games such as "cushion dance" (povtertanc).
