Itinerary

Start 10:30am from Ljubljana

Journey to picturesque landscapes and villages of Vipava valley, Karst and Brda, which seamlessly blend between Slovenia and Italy. Here you will visit vineyard estates, meet top winemakers and witness different stages of wine making.

Experience vintage in harvest, crushing of grapes, the fermentation, barreling, or the St Martin's day, when the juice finally becomes wine.

In Karst the harmony between man and nature is particularly important. The poor soil imbues the produce to fight with the terrain, to prevail and deliver most awarding, full-bodied flavors of wine and other produce of Nature. This is the kingdom of Teran, the characteristic Karst ruby-coloured wine and land of prosciutto.

We will then continue to Brda. Just one sip of flavor rich wines, will make you fall in love with this region influenced by the Mediterranean and the Alpine climates.

This is a perfect way to spend time in good company, enjoy authentic wines and taste delicious local home-prepared goodies.
