About this activity
In a local meat factory, you can taste the “Capocollo of Martina Franca”, representing a type of salami typical of gastronomic culture of this region. It is made only with the best pork meat of the territory and thanks to its best quality it is known and appreciated since the 18th century. In this food experience you will discover not only the “capocollo” but also other genuine Apulian meat products. The meat factory is situated in a countryside between Noci and Alberobello where you can visit the animals of the farm. To reach the place you need a car because there are no public means of transport in this little town. The parking is private and free.

Having booked on line at short notice, we got a call to say the venue was not available but were offered a similar experience that included wine tasting for the same price. We jumped at the chance. We arrived at Eno, in Noci, to receive a warm welcome by Miriam, one of the sommeliers and owner of the establishment. Eno has only been open since April so it still had that 'new' feel. A nice ambience, friendly staff and plenty of wines to choose from. Miriam gave us a talk about the wine of Apulia when we had the opportunity to sample 3 local wine, rose, white and red. All accompanied by a selection of locally produced antipasti that was very tasty. We then had the opportunity to purchase what we had tasted and drank. Prices were on the high end but reflected the type of establishment and clientele Eno are trying to attract. Tour lasted about 90 minutes which felt about right. There are options throughout the day when you can take the trip, I would recommend early evening. It set it up perfectly. At 25 the experience was certainly value for money and have no hesitation in recommending it..
