Stop At: Centro Storico di Monopoli, 70043, Monopoli Italy
The guided tour will start in Largo Plebiscito Square, then we’ll walk through Via Garibaldi, the ancient Merchants street, and reach Piazza Garibaldi, a place soaked in history that has preserved remains of different ages.
We’ll continue to the Carlo V Castle, that is part of the Spanish system of fortification and located within one of the oldest areas of Monopoli old town. We’ll admire the massive bastions walking along the waterfront promenade and have a fantastic view of the Porta Vecchia and the 16th century city walls.
Then we will visit the Cathedral with its Baroque decorations, built on a preexisting Romanesque church, that is connected with the the legend of Madonna della Madia icon’s landing.
Walking along the rest of the old Norman Castle and finally arrive to Vittorio Emanuele square, which is the heart of the modern part of Monopoli.
Free time for shopping and lunch.

Stop At: I Trulli di Alberobello - World Heritage Site, Alberobello Italy
The guided tour will start in front of the Trullo Sovrano, we’ll visit the two-storey Trullo to experience Apulian traditions of the past.
Then we will have the opportunity to figure out how trulli have been built and why they were realized in that way.
Stop in front of the Basilica of Saints Cosmas and Damian to know about their worship origins.
After passing through the modern part of the town, we will enjoy the best fairytale panorama.
Visit of the Aia Piccola district, one of the most picturesque areas of the historical centre of Alberobello.
The tour will end exploring the Rione Monti district, the tourist area, where we will have a look of the Trullo Siamese and the St. Anthony Church, a typical trullo-shaped church.
And finally free tasting of Apulian products (olive oil, wine, taralli, cheese...) in a typical trullo.
