About this activity

Drive to Akodessewa Fetish market to learn about the ancient Voodoo religion and its rituals. Drive to Lake Togo on the coastal road. Sail across the lake on a pirogue (traditional dugout canoe) to Togoville, a center for Voodoo practice in Togo. Set out on a guided tour by a resident and get a taste of Togolese life where Voodoo has a profound influence on the daily activities of the natives. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake. Sail back and visit a picturesque fishing community that practices Voodoo and perhaps enjoy a drink at sunset at this scenic seaside.

This tour requires a minimum of 2 people and include: a pick up and drop off at a local hotel or the Port of Lome (for cruise passengers), English/French-speaking guides, private car/van, activity fees and complementary bottled water throughout the tour.
