Booked this for my husband. He enjoyed it immensely. I'm not interested in ships, etc. but actually found it interesting. Definitely would recommend!
I regret buying this. We bought two tickets for this tour. When we arrived at the pier, we had to line up 25 minutes because apparently what you buy from Viator are not actually tickets. They are a voucher to get tickets. So you can't use them like tickets. You have to go to the attraction and line up, then present your voucher, and get tickets back. Not only that, but there are only certain places where you can go to get the tickets. So you can't go to any hop on hop off' pier, you can only go to certain ones to pick up the tickets. By the time we got to the end of the line at the right pier, several boats had come and gone, and it was too late to go to the Cutty Sark. So we paid more than 80 for nothing. Instead of buying one of these Viator vouchers, I would recommend just going to the pier, lining up like everyone else which you have to do anyway with the Viator voucher and buying your ticket in the usual way. There is no advantage whatsoever in having a Viator voucher. There is a disadvantage, because you have to go to a particular place to pick up your tickets. If you don't have the Viator voucher, you can go to any pier and buy the tickets.
Walking under the Cutty Sark and walking her decks was really great!
Very good value for money and most enjoyable!
