Full day London City tour with British Museum
This tour introduces you to the most important sites in the city of London, including London Tower, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and more! First stop is the Tower of London, an historic castle founded in 1066 as part of the Norman Conquest of England and located on the north bank of the River Thames. We will then head for Sir Christopher Wren's St. Paul's Cathedral, which hosted the wedding of Lady Diana Spencer to Charles, Prince of Wales, as well as commemorating Her Majesty, the Queen's birthday. You will also witness, when possible, the famous ceremony of the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, whereby a new guard is called forth to take the post of the former, wearing their traditional red tunics and bear-skin hats. In this extraordinary tour, you will get to know the favorite spots of Londoners and tourists alike: Piccadilly Circus, known for its neon signs and the Fountain of Eros, as well as Westminster Abbey, The Houses of Parliament and Oxford Street. To conclude the tour, we will end up at one of the oldest museums in the world, and that with the largest collection of antiques: The British Museum.
