Greet your guide at a central London location and embark on an explorative walking tour of London’s WWII-associated sights. Receive an interesting introduction to the impact World War II had on the English capital, and see buildings partially destroyed by the devastating Blitz bombing.

Marvel at iconic London attractions like Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and 10 Downing Street, and then capture photographs beside a statue of deceased British prime minister, Winston Churchill.

Stop At: Churchill War Rooms, Clive Steps, King Charles Street Westminster, London SW1A 2AQ England

Bid your erudite guide a fond farewell and descend into the Churchill War Rooms to explore the underground labyrinth independently. Pop in your audio guide to hear of how the network served as hastily constructed government offices during World War II; listen to audio recordings of Churchill’s inspiring war time speeches an delve into every aspect of his life as you explore the Churchill Museum.

My husband and I really enjoy WWII history. This was a fantastic tour in and around Westminster and Parliament square. The tour was easy to locate and the guide, Richard, was extremely knowledgeable and engaging (we actually had him for two tours!). The War Rooms are an experience all on there own and the benefit of doing the walking tour and admission is you’ll escape what is likely a lengthy queue no matter the time of day. Highly recommended for anyone interested in WWII history, Winston Churchill and even the basis of a lot of history surrounding parliament’s beginnings.

We had been told to visit the Churchill War Rooms upon our visit to London. We have had great success in previous trips booking tours through Viator and decided to add to the Churchill experience and book a tour, which included entry into the War Rooms and museum. Nathan was an excellent guide, very knowledgable and kept the group interested and entertained. We enjoyed this experience very much.

Anyone interested in WWII history must take this tour. Karen was our guide and did a great job blending facts with first hand stories.

We really enjoyed the walking tour with Pepper. Found the starting point without any trouble. I really liked having the audio player to hear the information as we walked. The best was that Pepper gave us information about London, not just Churchill.

Although we are Churchill fans, we didn't realize the ENTIRE focus of this Westminster portion of this tour was ALL on Mr. Churchill and some statues in park. No access to even peek in any of the many historic structures.... really didn't need to pre-book with a tour group for the fabulous War Rooms.... that's an easy do-it-yourself.

Our guide, Josh, was not only knowledgeable but delightfully entertaining. We would request him again.

For some reason I thought this tour also included a tour inside Westminster Abbey, not just touring the outside areas of Westminster. It was very hot that day and some of the tour was on hard surfaces where the sun was blistering. The tour can't help the weather, it just made it very uncomfortable. Tour guide was good though:)

The very rainy cold 4/8/18 day did not diminish our 1pm tour from being outstanding. Our guide was undaunted as he took us around the area, pointing out all buildings, statues and especially all things Churchill. He clearly knows his city's political history and shared it well. He was open to questions, sharing information on the architecture and the activities in these important buildings. He gave us all the heads up we were needed for our entry into and tour of the Churchill War Rooms. This was a private entrance with no crowds. They tell quite a story and at the end of it all, we felt we had quite an impressive education about the period. This tour is packed with information and our guide was very good at providing both concise but important facts and details. A thoroughly enjoyable experience thanks to him!
