Jack the Ripper Walking Tour in London
The discovery of a body on 31 August 1888 in London’s East End set in motion one of the most famous manhunts in criminal history. For over 120 years, Ripperologists and amateur sleuths have been trying (and failing) to discover the identity of the man known as Jack the Ripper!
Throughout the Jack the Ripper Tour, you will explore the historical background of the Whitechapel murders and their passing into a genre almost in their own right. We will examine how public perception of these gruesome but gripping murders has been shaped and compare that to the reality of 1888.

Our guide, John, was very entertaining and funny. He was knowledgeable about the topic, and stopped multiple times to encourage questions from the group. The pacing of the tour was good (so people weren't walking for too long). John had visual aides to help reinforce the story of Jack the Ripper. We attended this 6 hours after a 10-hour flight, and had no regrets about doing so. It kept our attention.
I enjoyed this tour more than I thought mostly due to our tour guide John and good try something different.
What can I say! Adrian was an amazing tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and witty. I would highly recommend this tour. It’s great for those who don’t know much, or know a lot and want to get right where the murders all took place. Adrian sucks you into the history and mystery.
Loved our tour guide! The tour was very interesting and definitely left you feeling like you were in the time period of Jack the Ripper! Definitely recommend this to anyone visiting London!

This was a well researched tour with our guide. She was so knowledgeable and had all the answers to our questions. Highly recommend!
I recommend this walking tour for anyone interested in learning about the topic and an insite into what it was like to be poor in the late 1800's.
