This year marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Queen Victoria and therefore, the floral displays will predominantly feature horticultural discoveries from the Victorian era. The Sunken Garden, planted in 1908, particularly celebrates gardening styles followed during the 18th century. April to October is when the garden looks most vibrant with its rotating flower displays. The Cradle Walk, a shaded arch that surrounds the garden, is notable for being a great vantage point from where you can view both the vibrant Sunken Garden and the rest of the renovated gardens.
