Why You Shouldn’t Miss This

Constructed in 1884, Anfield is the home ground of the Liverpool Football Club. It was originally built as Everton Football Club's home ground but was transferred to Liverpool in 1892. It has four stands - Anfield Road, the Main Stand, Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand and the Spion Kop. It currently has a seating capacity for 54,074 people and is one of the largest all-seater stands in Europe. Liverpool FC is one of the most successful English football teams of all time, with 5 European Cups, 3 UEFA Cups, 18 League titles, 8 League Cups, 7 FA Cups and 15 FA Community Shields to its name. It is the 8th most valuable club in the world and is one of the most supported teams in the world. The club’s anthem is, You’ll Never Walk Alone, and is recited every time the players walk out onto the pitch. The passion of Liverpool fans is second to none and is quite apparent during every game.

Your Experience

Enter Anfield Stadium, the home to one of the greatest clubs in English Football, Liverpool F.C. You can immerse yourself in the history of Liverpool F.C. as you walk around the stadium and visit its numerous rooms that are only reserved for players. The Home Team dressing room is spectacularly designed, and the white and red, although simple, makes for a stunning combination. You will get a chance to sit in the seat of your favorite players before you visit the away team dressing room. You will then go to the Press Room, where you can have a mock conference with your tour guide, giving you a feel of the pressure felt by the players and the manager during a press conference. You can imagine the deafening chorus of You’ll Never Walk Alone as you touch the This Is Anfield sign and walk onto the pitch through the Player’s Tunnel. The Anfield pitch is renowned for being one of the best-maintained grounds in England, and the red seating serves as the perfect contrast to the mostly white stadium. Finish off your tour of the stadium with a visit to the museum, where you can learn about Liverpool’s football history through the Liverpool F.C. Story. You can also see their impressive collection of silverware and the Steven Gerrard Collection exhibition, dedicated to the former captain and legend of Liverpool. With this, your Anfield Stadium tour will come to an end.
