About this activity
Make your own way to the Embankment Pier in central London and board your comfortable, modern cruise boat. Then, settle at your white linen-covered table in the interior cabin, and enjoy the views through the picture windows as your boat follows a round-trip route along the Thames River.
Stay inside or head out on the deck area with your camera as you glide past a roll call of London landmarks. Absorb views of the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye, drift by the Tower of London, and admire the aptly-named ‘Gherkin’ building, St Paul’s Cathedral and soaring glass spire of The Shard, London’s newest architectural icon.
As you cruise, enjoy a quintessentially English afternoon tea set to live soft piano music from the resident pianist. Savor freshly cut finger sandwiches, exquisite cakes and fluffy homemade scones served with dollops of Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserves, all arranged on dainty cake stands and accompanied by freshly brewed tea and coffee, fresh from the pot. Just remember to crook your little finger in true English aristocratic style as you lift your cup! See the
Itinerary for a sample menu.
After your 1.5-hour cruise, catch your last views of London from the water as your boat arrives back at its starting point. Your tour ends when you step back ashore.

It was very enjoyable. You must gove yourself enough time to figure out where the pier is located if you are trying to get there on your own.

We had a great time on this tour. Food, beverages and service was wonderful. Gave it a four only because our window was very dirty by our table and it completely distorted the views when other windows close by were obviously cleaner than ours. Also, air conditioning did not reach all areas equally on the boat and we toured on a hot, sunny day. Recommend going outside on the decks when done eating. Beautiful views if the city.

Very elegant yet comfortable environment. The pianist played delightful tunes. The food and tea was well presented and delicious and the service was prompt and attentive. We loved being escorted onto the boat to our table rather then everyone walking on and finding their assigned seats. Was well done and a must do if you're ever in London.

Very nice tour. Scones were DELISH! We booked late and didn't get a seat next to the window which is the reason for 4 stars. Going up stairs to see the views is a must!

I have used Viator for many tours over the last couple of years. This was the only one I was disappointed. The boat was hot. As we went by landmarks, they were not announced. The food was ok. I would find other alternatives for afternoon tea.

This was a great cruise, and a nice little treat for my wife's 30th. We booked the window seat and a glass of Champagne which we thought was good value for the extra 10 each. The food was lovely and there was a vast choice of tea's and coffee's. My pot of tea was refilled twice at no extra cost. The staff were very pleasant from the moment we checked in. They were incredibly welcoming and friendly and our waiter was great. I would definitely recommend!
