Visited 4 beautiful towns. I only wish we could have spent more time in each town. Lunch was at a nice hotel. The food was okay.

Beautiful villages! Decently guided tour. Only drawback was the lunch in Bulbury. The fish and chips were not good. Don’t order that if your lunch stop is there.

We had Lucy as our guide and John as our bus driver and the whole day was perfect! The tour gave us an excellent view of the Cotswolds and we were really immersed in the culture. Lunch was very good and there were no complaints at our table. The whole day went very smoothly and we would highly recommend this tour.

we got off to a late start because the coaches were stuck at the yard. Once that got all settled we were on our way. Our tour guide was not very knowledgeable and seemed rather lost. At each stop we never knew where to meet the coach. Tour guide would say one place and then we would have to walk totally opposite to find coach. The only time we were given any assistance in getting off the coach was at the very end when they asked for tips. Mind you a helping hand would have gone a long way if it had been offered at all our stops. The lunch we had was not to our liking. do not try the cobbler. It was awful and the ice cream was freezer burn. It was a waste of money. That being said... The Cotswolds towns are very nice and had some nice shopping. Just wish the tour guide and bus driver were better at their job. My seat mate swore she saw the driver drinking at the pub during one of our stops. I would not recommend this particular tour.

I thoroughly enjoyed my day trip. The coach driver was excellent and our guide for the day did an excellent job also.

Very good and entertaining guide, knowledgeable but not condescending, excellent driver, the programme relaxed, good overview of the quintessential English countryside

We loved the tour of the Cotswolds with one exception! The tour guide! The information she gave us on the Cotswolds was very informative, however we were not interested in her personal views on Brexit, the British government or her dissatisfaction with her husband. The thing that upset us the most was her bad mouthing our President, Donald Trump! It was uncalled for and very upsetting. We were not the only Americans on the tour.

The highlight of my trip to London. Not to be missed. Looked like a postcard. I highly recommend this day trip.

As my wife and I did two days of large group tours, we realized that we have been spoiled previously with private and small group tours. This particular tour was well executed and we were able to get a feel for the Cotswolds, although the time in any single location was too short. I would have preferred fewer stops with more time to enjoy the stops. Combine this with inconsiderate travelers, and it was less than ideal. The small young lady in front of my wife reclined her seat all the way back; there is little leg room without the seat reclined. Even when politely asked to move it up just one click, she refused. This made it a very uncomfortable long day for my wife. This particular tour was provided by Premier Tours. The tour provider's departure organization was well done and they stayed on schedule. In the future, I will seek private or small group tours that offer more flexibility and client consideration.

We took this tour to see some countryside and we were not disappointed! The tour guide was funny and knowledgeable and made a day in a bus and stops in the cold wet towns fun. Early March was chilly but still well worth the trip.

I quite enjoyed this tour, regardless of the rain. Our guide was very knowledgeable if a bit cold in his interactions with his customers. I would recommend somehow giving people more time to browse the shops at each location. There was barely enough time to get off, grab a coffee, walk into two stores and get back on the bus. My friend and I bought a tea to warm up and asked if we could bring it on the bus. We were promptly told no drinks on the bus and had to throw it away. Then what do I see, two seats up, people drinking coffee. We need the rules to apply to all. Worst thing of the tour was our lunch. It was awful from start to finish, no one at our table liked the menu. Beautiful locale but maybe a better menu or a different restaurant altogether? I would suggest doing this tour only if the lunch is excluded because it is totally not worth the expense.

The guide, David, was incredible. A walking encyclopedia. The driver was excellent and very safe. I do think the last stop at Stow-on-the-Wold didn’t warrant the time after the previous stops. I understand the driver needs a break but I would have preferred to return after Burton.

Really enjoyed this trip. We visited four towns, a mixture of big and small which gave a great overview. Commentary was informative and lunch tasty. Would have liked to have a packed lunch so we could see more of the village in the lunch town as after lunch we only had 10 minutes to explore. Apart from that perfect.

Probably the most enjoyable of all of the tours we took - wonderful guide whose passion for English history was exciting - smooth Mercedes bus - very comfortable, but no bathroom on board. Confusing to find the embarkation point so leave plenty of time to get there, especially if taking the London Tube Underground system. The Cotswolds is a charming area, lunch was excellent - wonderful day in the country

We signed up for the Lunch in the Cotswolds to spend a day outside of London and get a feel for the English countryside. We expected to travel to a couple of villages and have lunch at a typically English Inn. What we received was an incredible 10 hour journey into the history, geography, geology, economics, language, and politics of the United Kingdom. It was an awesome experience!! Our tour guide effortlessly brings history, culture and geography together in such a way that a coach ride to ancient villages becomes a memorable experience of a lifetime. David put so many things into perspective during our ride together that by the time we left the coach, we felt enlightened with a thirst for more learning on our own, and it made touring sites in London much more enjoyable as we had historical perspective from the tour. From a pure logistics perspective, the tour was spot on. We made the reservation a few days out and arrived at the Victoria Coach station on time. The motor coach was comfortable with an expert driver and our outstanding tour guide. The bus departed London and traveled northwest into the Cotswolds where David explained where we were going, the roots of language and culture of the people who live there, and the geography and geology of the settlers of the Cotswolds. Passing the lush countryside, our guide pointed out the sheep which sparked a conversation on agriculture and the economics of the UK. As the terrain changed, we learned of the geology of the area and how it influenced the building material in the Cotswolds. We made a quick comfort break enroute and then were off to a series of four picturesque villages in the Cotswolds and a delightful lunch at the Swan Inn. Throughout the journey, our guide provided context to each of the villages, the why behind what we were seeing and the historical understanding of the conflicts and politics of England over the past thousand years that shaped what we see today. David’s expert knowledge of the Royal families over time offered scope and depth to our travel. He offered potential locations for a cup of tea or a local delicacy at each village and then explained the menu options at our lunch at the “Swan” Inn. Our afternoon village tours were a great opportunity to walk off lunch before our evening return to London. Our simple day trip to the Cotswolds for lunch became a most memorable experience thanks to our tour guide David and Viator. We highly recommend this tour.

Beautiful day, guide was very knowledgeable and well spoken. Just enough time everywhere. Be aware that you could hit traffic and not get back until after 7.

You're pretty much on your own at each stop, which some people will enjoy more than others. Frankly I was a bit disappointed in the four small towns...they were more commercial and less quaint than I was hoping for. But I am not sure that's the tour operator's fault.

My husband and I chose this tour because we really wanted a "Cotswolds only tour" as compared to other tours where Cotswolds is just one of several places visited in a day. I want to thank our guide, David, who did his job very well. He shared so many interesting historical background and cultural information. We had four major stops with ample time to go around and enjoy each place. The lunch part was one of the things I have been looking forward to in this tour and I have to say that I enjoyed my main course choice - baked trout. This is a well-planned tour and well-managed, too. I highly recommend this tour to those who want to experience England's countryside. Value for money!
